Re-contectualized debris and found material form the basis of my work. My work evokes the tracings of time and worlds of activity, distilled into simple constructs. The pieces are located in that intersection of the geometric and organic form. The material itself is ephemeral or reflects the impact of time or the elements. The use of different mesh types offers one of the slightest ways to inscribe space. It speaks of presence and absence, and how our perception of experience, memory, an object or time — all shift based on where we stand — our point of view.
